April 14, 2012 Historic Folsom Station Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
Folsom's newest plaza in the Historic District was commemorated on April 14th, 2012 with a ribbon cutting ceremony. Folsom's City Manager and Council kicked off the ceremony with individual speeches relaying the role the community played in creating the plaza along with recognizing the multi-discipline design team headed by R.E.Y. Engineers for their role in making the concepts a reality. The ceremony, which had everything from a magic show to a dragon parade was capped off by a Johnny Cash tribute band that played well into the evening.May 7, 2011: Historic Folsom Streetscape Revitalization
The City of Folsom dignitaries hosted the Grand Opening of the Streetscape Project and relayed their appreciation for the work put forth during the successful design and construction. R.E.Y. Engineers was among those recognized, but the best recognition was listening to comments from the thousands that came down to enjoy the new improvements.REY Completes 22nd Mobile LiDAR Mapping Project in 8 Months
REY Geospatial Division has completed it's 22nd Mobile LiDAR project in the first 8 months after receiving the Riegl VMX-250 system.R.E.Y. Engineers completed realtime positioning on the second phase of Bay Bridge retrofit; R.E.Y. Engineers provided real-time movement monitoring of the new span retrofit on Labor Day with simultaneous instrument monitoring points and system display at eight remote locations. R.E.Y. Engineers begins Historic Folsom Revitalization project. R.E.Y. Engineers is designing streetscape improvements for the Historic Folsom District to include widened streets, planters, on-street parking, new utilities and enhanced sidewalks with full ADA compliance.
