R.E.Y. Engineers provided topographic surveys of Chevron’s containment berm to support a five-year Spill Prevention Control & Countermeasure (SPCC) for the purpose of review, tank expansion and replacement.

R.E.Y.’s team of professionals completed an industrial and hazardous materials training course prior to working, and provided the necessary containment volume and freeboard calculations for the 25 year, 24 hour storm event for SPCC certification.

R.E.Y. identified the containment capacity and storm capacity of all tanks at the site. Petroleum tank models were produced from the LiDAR point cloud, which was then used to derive containment volume and freeboard calculations.
