R.E.Y. prepared an Active Transportation Program Cycle 7 grant application for this project to provide pedestrian and bicycle improvements on Riley and Dean Streets, which provide access to Historic Downtown Folsom, the central commercial district, Sutter Middle School, Theodore Judah Elementary School, and provides access across Lake Natoma via the Rainbow Bridge. R.E.Y. utilized data gathered from previous grant applications to quickly and cost-effectively assist the city in submitting an ATP Cycle 7 grant application to fully fund the project.
