R.E.Y. provided a full range of civil design, land surveying and mapping services for this 190-acre development that is part of the Folsom Plan Area Specific Plan encompassing 3,500 acres south of US 50 in Folsom.  Folsom Heights includes 407 single family lots, 123 multi-family lots, 3 commercial parcels and 46 acres of open space. Located in the hilliest portion of the Folsom Plan Area Specific Plan, R.E.Y. prepared rough grading plans to ensure earthwork balance which required almost 3 million cubic yards of excavation, blasting and construction of 5-acres of retaining walls.  Two large regional detention/water quality basins were constructed as part of the project, including large concrete outflow structures with flow control gates and weir structures to provide 2-year, 10-year and 100-year stormwater attenuation.
