The project provided multimodal improvements aimed at increasing multimodal transportation opportunities and safety in Downtown Stockton. Project features included the addition of street lighting, pedestrian bulb outs and bike lanes, improving deficient sidewalks, and reducing Miner Avenue from four to two lanes. The City of Stockton had previously submitted an application for the project in Cycle 2 but were not awarded funds. R.E.Y. reviewed the application against current ATP guidelines and scoring rubric and developed a competitive application that received $670,000 in funding in Cycle 3.
